About Me

I’m Tyler, a mental health therapist in the Denver Metro Area with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from CU Denver. Outside of sessions, I'm a photographer, husband, dog lover, music enthusiast and concert-goer, snowboarder, foodie, first-gen college student, and all-around mental health advocate.

I’ve also experienced some of the curveballs life tends to throw at us and I understand how hard it can be to find support when we need it most. When I’ve faced those challenges in the past, I was able to turn to therapy for the crucial support and perspectives I needed during those times. I found it helpful to have a dedicated time to sort through my thoughts and feelings. When working together with you, I strive to provide you the same supportive, welcoming, and understanding space. My ultimate goal is to help you identify your strengths, build skills, and achieve your goals in a way that aligns with your values.

My Clinical Experience

Since 2019, I’ve held several roles in the mental health field. After earning my Bachelor's degree in psychology, I started out as a Behavior Interventionist, providing in-home ABA therapy to children on the Autism Spectrum. Then, I worked as a neuropsychology technician at National Jewish Health in Denver, CO, where I administered cognitive assessments to a range of adult patients, with conditions such as Cognitive Impairment, TBI, Long-COVID Syndrome, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s and dementia. During graduate school, I interned at Regis University's Health & Counseling Center where I provided therapy to both undergraduate and graduate students, supporting them through smaller day-to-day stressors to more significant concerns. Some of the concerns I’ve helped clients work through in the past include depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship concerns, family conflict, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. These days, I look forward to using my experience and knowledge into being an advocate for you and your overall well being.
